The hotel is located in a beautiful spot near France and you can reach the Old Town of Oradour-sur-Glane in just 3 km.

the double room we were given had an electric kettle, a microwave, and central heating. street view was a nice bonus.

Nothing it was perfect.

The room was tastefully decorated, offered useful things, such as a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges. Location: the hotel was close enough to France to date. Also, it was within 10 minutes by car from a sobering memorial...

The rooms here are nicely decorated, well-equipped with shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets, and the bed is comfortable with hypoallergenic pillows.

The terrace during breakfast was a great experience, located in the heart of the city in a perfect and beautiful spot.

The room at L'Ancienne Epicerie was so cozy and comfortable. I loved having my own private bathroom and a desk to work on. The TV was an added bonus, perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The bed linen and towels provided were clean and of great quality. it felt like a home away from home for me as a business traveler.

I personally found the wardrobe a bit small. But hey, that's just me.

The bed linen and towels were fresh, and the private bathroom was a nice touch. Having a desk and TV in the room made it convenient for me to work and relax. I felt right at home.

While I enjoyed the room at L'Ancienne Epicerie, I personally would have preferred if there was a wardrobe instead of just a kettle provided in the unit. But hey, that's just my preference – others might find the kettle useful.

I keep coming back because I'm always satisfied. The staff even helped me with the adaptors! It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, free parking, security, coffee shop, TV. Coming back for a romantic getaway!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at L'Ancienne Epicerie. The location was perfect for visiting the Oradour-sur-Glane Martyr Village, and the value for money was excellent. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel right at home.
